How we started

From one meetup to
a global community.

It started in June 2016 as a weekly networking night at Hurley’s Saloon in NYC for the MIT FinTech course. Two people showed up the first week, and by week 12, 20 to 30 people were coming every week.

That fall it became an NYC Meetup with Fireside Chats. Community Partners then took it to cities worldwide, and one room wasn’t enough, so we built the platform to connect members anywhere, every day.

What does the review look for?

We check that you work or are involved in fintech and that your profile is real and complete. Reviews take less than a day.

What does Basic include?

Basic is complimentary and gives you a reviewed profile, member search, and 10 messages to start conversations. Replies are always unlimited.

How do I upgrade?

Every member starts on Basic. Once your profile is approved, you can upgrade from inside your account.

What’s the difference between Pro and Premier?

Pro gives you unlimited messages, promoted posts, and a qualification meeting. Premier adds our partner matching and introductions.

Who can see my profile?

Only signed-in members can see your profile. Signed-out visitors never see names, emails, or profiles, so your details stay private.
